Raiden is one rank above Hong, but isnt Raiden known as the 2nd strongest and Hong as the first? Or does Hong still manage to hold his own despite the minor difference in essence/rank? How do they advance in rank at that level? do they have to rely on things like the thousnads years old tree hearts or can they just meditate/workout ? Far beyond though? You just need to look at the episode ‘Jibaro’ from the series called ‘Love Death and Robots’ to know this isn’t the case. The fact this was entirely CGI and there were only moments I thought it might be CGI was unreal. The animatrix back in 2003 had CGI episodes on par with most of the better Chinese series we see today 19 years ago!

Western cgi animation has a certain style - mostly aimed at children and therefore not aimed at realism. Most ‘realism CGI’ is used in films. Japan has always preferred 2D animation, hence why their 3D series attempts to mimic the anime style, you only need to look at FF one shots like Kingsglaive to know Chinese CGI isn’t ‘far beyond’ as you’re claiming.

- He learns cloning techniques which becomes important and Xu Xin is pregnant with his twins
-Monsters begins to attack cities and a never seen before monster appeared and attacked (you thought the one we had before was bad, this is much much worse as they began to attack the rest of the world, they wiped out EU and the USA, leaving behind pockets of survivors
- Hong and Leishin combined to attack it after all methods failed but they both failed, and is saved by Luo Feng, but they hang on barely in a coma.
- A number of volunteers of War Gods and Existence surpassing War God and Luo Feng went to attack the monster, the Golden Horned Beast, all of them died leaving Luo Feng a chance to strike at it, he succeeds but the beast explodes causing massive damage

Part 1. I have to type a summary of what happens leading to that event otherwise it wont make sense

Quite a lot of things will happen before that happens
- Luo Feng enters a mission/training at an ancient archeological site, where he obtains a Black God Armor set, he gives this Hong as promised, since he got one from him for free when he earned finders fee for the spirit of nature event, and he obtains various weapons and other things, but his most important item from Hong is something that he will use pretty much for his entire life
- Xu Xin and him becomes official, with the blessing of the Xu family. He stays in the site for over a year, breaking a record, which isnt considered good since people who dont leave within 3 months are usually considered dead, and Xu Xin shuts down emotionally with grief
- During this time the Vulture and Scorpion couple covertly attack Luo Feng's family, but because Luo Feng invested money with his brother, his brother became a very rich single man, almost comparable to one of the major houses, his brother manages to fend off the attacks but their parents are injured.
- Luo Feng comes out, shocking everyone, he goes and attack the couple only to be stopped by war gods, who says it isnt worth dying for (War Gods cannot kill another War God in public) not to mention that a large crowd of people were in the vicinity of a bomb being controlled by the couple, nonetheless Luo Feng manages to obtain evidence of what they did to his family, and remember there is an unspoken rule, no family member of any warriors can be harmed plus Hong vouched for his family

Part 3 Thank goodness I checked to see if it was deleted

Luo Feng is hailed as a hero and Xu Xin gives birth to twins, and then commits suicide while wearing a wedding dress, she was in grief and had post natal depression after giving birth to the twins

It gets complicated but he ends up with the body of the Gold Horned Beast along with his original one, then after this, he begins to explore other ancient archeological sites, which happens to be alien cities or spaceships, he then finds a workable spaceship since the one his master left behind is damaged, and so begins his travels beyond the solar system, and yes aliens comes to Earth, since.. well another spoiler for another day lol but the story moves from Earth to the galaxy
So either this season will cover all the spoilers I mentioned or will go beyond what I have covered, it is hard to say since the studio makes a lot of changes. although it does follow the novel unlike the one that is doing the Soul Land's final arc, they might end the season with the cliffhanger of fighting the beast, we'll see what happens lol

Oh Xu Xin doesnt die, since Luo Feng gave her a necklace he obtained from the AI called Babata and Luo Feng messaged her to tell her not to do silly things while he was still recovering, unable to return for a while after the battle with the beast. when she told Luo Feng's family they didnt fully believe her thinking that she went loopy with grief at first lol :) She is "resurrected" and has an undying body that doesnt age
We are currently at chapter 157 out of 1486 chapters, so a little over 10% The novel is finished, it was published in 2010. It is translated, it isnt bad, many non professional translators who takes up translating webnovel they sometimes give up and another person or group takes over. since it is a huge undertaking. The translators uses fancy words to impress the readers like stupefied and agglomerate and most of the time it is a literal translation, similar to google and it sometimes doesnt convey the context of what the author wrote lol But the translations are accurate, unlike the donghua done by myanimelive where anyone fluent in Chinese will know where they translated it wrong.

I read it on a Chinese site, but I refer to the translated one when I post information here so people can refer to the novel without wondering how come my terminology is different to the donghua, then again I shouldnt worry about it since myanimelive translates it all over the place lol
You can read it on novelfull, but the translator organised it as volumes and chapters, so this episode is currently at volume 5 chapter 57 (the volume is removed at around volume 11 lol), on webnovel com it is chapter 157, Some works on this site is free to read while other works might is locked unless you pay a small donation, I would go to novelfull instead
